Selling With Overture Auctions

We can help you to access buyers locally, nationally and internationally via our online auctions. All of our auctions are backed up by promotional activity to get the best price possible for your items – they are widely marketed via print adverts,  email, social media, local and specialist media and our online catalogues.

Here’s how we can help you sell your item at auction:

Pre-sale Appraisal

A free specialist valuation is always the first step to selling with us. Please send an email to valuations@overtureauctions.co.uk Include a few photo's of the item from different angles, any makers marks/hallmarks and a brief description of anything you know about the item. Alternatively please call to make an appointment with one of our team either at our premises or we can arrange a home visit if there is a lot of items to see.

Collection, delivery and storage

Once you have your valuation, we will offer a convenient date for you to transport your item(s) to us. We can also arrange collection of the item(s) if you would prefer. We’ll detail these options as part of your valuation.

Sellers Fees

Seller commission: 17.5%.

Lot fees: £2.50/lot

No VAT is currently payable

All fees, photography and insurance are included.

We Charge a £10 fee to PAT any electrical items and will let you know if they are not fit for sale.

Valuations services

We can provide valuations for probate and insurance, from £50. please contact us for more information.

House Clearances

We offer a professional, friendly and thoughtful Full and Part house clearance service. We can offer advice, value items, carefully clear the property, and then submit suitable items for auction on your behalf. Our aim is always to minimise the amount of material going to landfill by re-use and recycling wherever possible.
